This is a combination of the Marken-Volendam, Windmills and Delft-The Hague-Madurodam tours

This tour starts by showing you the fishing villages of Volendam and Marken on the coast of the former Zuiderzee - now called IJsselmeer - with their wooden houses and locals wearing their colourful and traditional style of dress.
At the end of the 13th century AD, Marken was separated from the mainland by a huge storm. Only in 1957 a dike was built to secure a permanent way to reach Marken.
In Volendam you can enjoy a delicious fresh fishmeal and stroll through the small and narrow alleys with their picturesque houses. We will also visit one of the very few cheese-factories where cheese is still made in the traditional way.

Next destination is the Windmill park "Zaanse Schans". After driving through a typical Dutch countryside of polders and little canals we will visit a few of the unique windmills that are open to visitors. We will make a visit to a wooden-shoe maker where the world famous clogs are still made the traditional way. Also located here are a clock museum, a pewterer's trade and much more.

After that it's off to Delft, the town world-famous for its magnificent porcelain. We visit a Delft Blue Pottery, then proceed to our second destination in South-Holland: The Hague. Here we make a city tour past the Houses of Parliament, the Peace Palace and the Royal Palace. Highlight of this tour is a visit to Madurodam (Miniature Holland). On our way back we will pass Scheveningen, the seaside resort with its beautiful beaches.
